I'm Martin, a thoughtful tech person based in regional Victoria. On this site,I focus on creating small, intentional projects that explore ideas clearly and perhaps are random and experimental.
My interests span personal finance, ultramarathons, and history. I believe the best solutions come from understanding fundamentals deeply and applying them with simplicity.
What I build
This site houses my experiments, essays, and micro-projects. Each piece represents a focused exploration into a particular problem or concept.
I believe in shipping work with intent—whether that's a calculator, an analysis, or a written piece, it should be, at some level, useful.
What I work
I work in an automotive-adjacent industry focused on data.
I also apply rigor to my own training and I am currently building towards my first 100-mile ultra-marathon.
